Now That You Know!

Now that you now what it really takes to achieve your goal…How badly Do you still want it? You basically have to rearrange your life to align with your current goals…because after all…If your actions don’t align with your goals, you’ll never achieve them, right?!

You’ll be right here 6 months from now, upset that you aren’t seeing the results that you aren’t working toward 🤨

See how I did that?! You can’t expect to achieve something that you aren’t putting forth the right effort to achieve. That would be too perfect…and since we’re nowhere near perfect, we have Walgreens🤷🏽‍♀️ Sorry, I couldn’t help it…it’s their old commercial 🤪

My point is, if you want to change your life…you will have to CHANGE YOUR LIFE…Beginning with mindset! Make a shift and understand that this is a life of abundance, not deprivation. There are tons of ideas on the World Wide Web! Just ask Siri…she’s your best friend! Try foods that you never would have before! Eat the 🌈! And stop acting like my 8 year old that won’t eat anything that doesn’t look like a nugget or taste like candy 😳🤣

Retrain your brain to see food as information for your cells to function optimally. See food as fuel for your body to operate at its best! And see food as a tool of recovery, after those intense workouts!

Did you know that you can actually eat what you want, as long as it fits within your macros?🤯 Yes, you can still have a cookie, ice cream, etc… As long as it doesn’t push you over your Macros for the day! Oh, what are Macros you ask! These are the nutrients you need in large quantities…Protein, Carbohydrates and Fats to be exact. Micros are the nutrients you need in smaller quantities, like vitamins and minerals…both equally as important to your overall health and well being.

Once you download the MyFitnessPal app and know what your daily Macro requirement is…What will happen, is when you start tracking (yes it’s a headache at first, but totally worth every second) you learn to make better quality choices. You begin to take notice of all the empty calories and/or mindless eating you’ve been doing and how easy it is to actually overeat. Then magic happens and you won’t want all the “extra stuff” as much as you thought you did. And if you feel you really want it, and the craving isn’t leaving, pull out the old pen and paper and explore why!

Listen, if you’ve been exercising and not seeing the results you desire…it’s time to make a change…and that change is nutrition.

How to be successful at changing your body composition

  1. Get real clear on why you want this in the first place (it will help when you want to quit)

  2. Know, Track and Eat Within Your Macros (MyFitnessPal app)

  3. Track Water Intake 8-10 Glasses/day (MyFitnessPal app)

  4. Get In At least 30 Minutes Of Daily Exercise. Strength and Some Cardio…Not All Cardio, unless you want to be skinny fat. Build Lean Muscle, to burn more fat.

  5. Get Enough sleep 6-8 hours 🙏🏼

  6. Meditate 🧘🏽‍♀️

  7. Journal Your Thoughts. Get them out of your head and clear space for growth mindset

  8. Listen to PMA on a daily basis

  9. Constant Checking In With Self

  10. Watch your dreams and goals manifest!
